What data we process, what for, and what you can do about it.

Here we explain what data of yours we process, what for, for how long and what you can do about it. No small print. Last updated: July 2026.

This is a courtesy translation. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails, as it is the legally binding one.

1. Data controller

2. What data we process and what for

We only process the data you give us. We do not buy databases or collect information behind your back.

a) Contact forms and audit requests

• Data: name, email, phone, company and whatever you tell us in the message.
• Purpose: answering your enquiry, preparing a quote or the information you ask for, and keeping in touch about that request.
• Legal basis: your consent on submitting the form (art. 6.1.a GDPR) and, if you have already hired us or are asking for a quote, pre-contractual measures or performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Retention: while we handle your request and, afterwards, for up to 3 years in case we pick the conversation back up, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If we end up working together, the period in the next section applies.

b) Client relationship

• Data: the identification and billing data needed to provide the service.
• Purpose: providing the contracted service, invoicing it and meeting our legal obligations.
• Legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and compliance with tax and accounting obligations (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
• Retention: for the duration of the relationship and, afterwards, the statutory limitation periods (6 years for commercial and accounting matters, 4 for tax).

c) Commercial communications

• Data: name and email.
• Legal basis: your express consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), or the legitimate interest under art. 21.2 LSSICE if you are already a client and the services are similar to those contracted.
• Purpose: sending you news, content and offers about our services.
• Retention: until you unsubscribe. You can do so with one click in any of our emails, or by writing to us.

d) Browsing the site

• Data: what is collected through cookies and similar technologies, according to what you have accepted.
• Purpose and legal basis: explained in detail in the cookie policy. Necessary cookies rely on our legitimate interest in the site working; everything else, only with your consent.

3. Are you obliged to give us your data?

No. That said, the fields marked as required on the forms are the minimum needed to help you: if you do not fill them in, we cannot reply.

4. Who else can see your data

We do not sell your data or pass it to third parties to advertise to you. It is accessed only by those who provide services we need to operate, always as data processors and under a signed contract obliging them to use it solely for what we ask:

• Web hosting provider (the servers where this site and its databases live).
• Email provider and, where applicable, newsletter delivery.
• Accountants and advisers, for tax and accounting obligations.
• Payment gateway, if you contract a service and pay online.

We may also disclose it to public authorities, judges and courts where there is a legal obligation.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

We aim to work with providers inside the European Economic Area. Where one is outside it (for example, services hosted in the United States), the transfer relies on one of these safeguards provided for in the GDPR: an adequacy decision by the European Commission (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or the Standard Contractual Clauses.

Specifically, this site loads typefaces from Google Fonts and images from Unsplash, services that receive your IP address when the page is shown to you. You can see the detail in the cookie policy.

6. Your rights

You may exercise these rights free of charge, at any time:

• Access: knowing what data of yours we hold and what we do with it.
• Rectification: correcting anything inaccurate.
• Erasure: asking us to delete it (the «right to be forgotten»).
• Objection: asking us to stop processing it.
• Restriction: asking us to keep it but not use it, while a complaint is resolved.
• Portability: receiving it in a format you can take to another provider.
• Withdrawing your consent at any time, without affecting what was done up to that point.

How to exercise them: write to us at hola@marketizados.com stating which right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to prove your identity. We will reply within one month at most.

Complaints: if you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid · www.aepd.es). We would appreciate it if you wrote to us first so we can try to resolve it.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), access control, backups and regular updates. No system is infallible, but we take this seriously.

8. Automated decisions

We do not make automated decisions or build profiles that produce legal effects concerning you.

9. Minors

Our services are aimed at professionals and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 14. If you notice that a minor has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change the way we process your data, we will update this page. Where the change is significant, we will tell you through the usual channels.
